College Football: Two Must See Players in the Pac-12

College Football is just months away, and it should be an exciting season, especially in the Pac-12. With a new commissioner George Kliavkoff, things are starting to look up for the Pac-12. Many talented players are returning and coming to the conference this year, but there are two players I am excited to see play this year. Quarterback Jayden Daniels of Arizona State and cornerback Mykael Wright of Oregon are who i eager to watch this season.

Jayden Daniels QB Arizona State

Daniels is a dual-threat quarterback returning to Arizona State this year. As a freshman, Daniels threw for 2,943 yards, 17 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. The quarterback also rushed for 344 yards. Daniels threw for 701 yards and five touchdowns in four games this past season while also running 224 yards and four rushing touchdowns.

The Arizona State quarterback will take what the defense gives him when running the ball but can break a long run. Daniels does not also turn the ball over, which is a great thing. I am excited to see if Daniels can take his game to the next level and battle Kedon Slovis for the best quarterback in the Pac-12.

Mykael Wright CB Oregon

As a freshman, Wright was targeted 23 times and only allowed 23 eight catches. He also returned two kick returns for touchdowns in his first year at Oregon. Coming into his Sophomore season, Wright led the Pac-12 in passes defended with nine. He had a 52.9% completion rate, and Wright is also a good run defender.

Wright is a young, exciting player that I can not wait to watch this upcoming season. I want to see if he can be All-American this season. He has gotten better each year, so I expect big things this year from Wright. The cornerback must continue to work hard and remained focus, and the sky is the limit for Wright.
