Kari Korver played her college basketball at UCLA; she played four years as a Bruin. In her four years at UCLA, she averaged 7.9 points per game. Korver shot 37% from the field and 36% from behind the arc. In her time as a Bruin, Korver helped lead UCLA to two Sweet 16 appearances and one WNIT championship in 2015.
After he time at UCLA, Korver played in Germany, was an assistant coach for Northern Colorado, and was the head coach of Palisades High School junior varsity team.
Korver will be one of the youngest executives in the WNBA for the Sparks. Hopefully, she will give the Sparks the leadership they need after what went on last year with the team.
